New Circuits Galore in the UK...!

Some great new developments to the UK race circuit scene are afoot. Snetterton has a completely new track layout with a brand new surface (Snetterton 300) and looks far more interesting than the old circuit. In addition, Mallory Park has been completely resurfaced at a cost of £500 million - all in all adding some much needed upgrades to the UK Club Racing picture.

Mallory Park Upgrades
Here's a look at Mallory taken from YouTube. Looks smooth and Edwinas plus the Bus Stop seem to have been opened out a bit which should make for a faster lap.

Here's a few laps at the target race pace for the new Yamaha R6 Roadstocks racer on the old layout...This is how quick I need to be to stand a chance of a decent finish in EMRA Roadstocks.

Snetterton 300 New Track
Only a simulation is available at this point, but looks a nice layout with a good combination of lefts and rights.

Plans for 2011
Racing is likely to be a little sparse again in 2011 due to budget restrictions. More than likely selected rounds on either (or possibly both) the R6 and the Earlystocks GSX1100 will be competed, mainly at Mallory Park due to its convenience. Hopefully one or two other circuits can be included if possible.
